Quick, easy cache-n-dash - unless someone is playing disc golf!
Down by the Bay ... where the watermelons grow, back to my home, I dare not go, for if I do, my mother will say ...
Anybody else know that song? It's on at least two of our kid's cds, and its one of those annoying songs that gets stuck in your head. Forever.
But that has nothing to do with geocaching, or why I chose to bring you here. This cache is placed in Churchville Park, down by a pretty little bay off Black Creek. This bay is a constant spectacle, with a variety of birds all the time, peeper frogs in the spring and summer, turtles, fish, the occasional blue heron, and right now - geese by the hundreds. And, because of the proximity to nearly still water, mosquitoes. Right near by, on the creek itself, are some great fishing spots, and we have brought the boys here to teach them to fish. Heck, we even got a model rocket stuck in a tree a couple hundred yards north of here. Right at this spot there is a disc golf course, and nearby there is a playground, tennis courts, soccer fields, pavilions and picnic tables.
You may not have to worry about the mosquitoes, because this cache will be so easy to find, you will likely see the hide spot as you drive by to park your vehicle! The cache is a medium sized Lock-n-Lock covered in cammo tape. We have sprinkled a few leaves over it to hide it even more - please hide it as good or better than you found it. The cache is located smack dab in the middle of a disc golf course, so you will need to pay attention to the possibility of muggles sneaking up on you. Please trade fairly.
