Twenty or so years ago this area was mostly farmland, swamp and bushland. Now there's a lot of houses, a series of waterfalls, a 20 hectare "Bush Forever" zone, and some nice walkways.
Some years ago the paths had been greatly improved, so there was no need to bush-bash until you were very close to GZ. Sadly rather than being improved most of the tracks are now very overgrown and difficult to find in the heavy undergrowth. It is no longer safe to approach the original cache location even at the height of summer, so the cache has been relocated to a more accessible spot. Please be sure to use stealth approaching the cache and logging your find, and watch out for muggles.
In winter and spring there could be some water blocking access to the cache, but I would expect that only to occur after heavy rains.
The cache is now a drab camouflaged 500 Ml round screw-top container, hidden under pieces of paperbark at the base of a tree. Please be sure to securely tighten the lid and re-hide it well with the available material.
Contents are log book, finders cards, a pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps.
When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find, and please don't take the pen, pencils or sharpener. If you can't trade up or trade even I don't mind seeing TNLNSL in the log. Also please don't put the pen or pencils in the log book bag, it tends to destroy the watertight integrity.
Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free to take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in the logbook and your online log, and do log them online.
