Geocache Description:


This is a multi-cache taking you on a little trip around the grounds of Vaksala kyrkan the terrain is easy there is no need to leave the paths of the grounds and this i deadicate to my fellow landsman and geocacher Ironiceva .

Vaksala kyrka byggdes under sent 1100-tal i Romansk stil.På 1300-talet fick den en höggotisk stil och målades invändigt . Målningarna kalkades över i slutet av 1700-talet. När man på 1900 talet förskte ta fram målningarna igen hade mycket gått förlorat. Kyrkan syns från motorvägen på E4 i Uppsala. At the the first coordinates you will find a grave of a Riksdagensmannen when was he born -1208 that give you AAA and his wife died -1618 that give you BBB N 59 52.AAA E017 41.BBB At second coodinates you will find the grave of Bolinder date of birth -1179 gives you CCC date of death -1519 gives you DDD N59 52.CCC E017 41.DDD At thrid coodinates from a sitting point of view add up the dates of birth of the first five graves -9083 that gives you EEE then do the same with deaths -9621 that gives you FFF N59 52.EEE E017 41.FFF At forth coordinates find the gravestone with the english slang name for mormor/farmor or another name for Aupair birthdate -1345 give you GGG and death date -1788 gives you HHH N59 52 GGG E017 41 HHH At fifth coordinates a gravestone with the letters F and D f- 1167=XXX and D-1611=YYY N59 52.XXX E017 41 YYY Good luck and remember to stay on paths no need to cut corners rest in peace
