Cache is along the old CNR railway bed between South River and Clarkes Beach
Cache is located on a neck of land just off the rail bed next to the water. It is off the ground and surrounded by evergreen. Area can be accessed from Clarkes Beach (from Rt 70 , Riverside Drive, Connolly's Rd. to the old Rail Bed). and South River (from Rt 70, Springfield Rd., Mannings Hill down to the water and Taylors Rd to the rail bed) Bring something to feed the ducks and in season bring your fishing rod as this area is well known for Seatrout, Trout and the occaisional Salmon. Cod have also been taken by rod in this area. Original railway spikes are occisionally recovered along the rail bed. It you find one you have found a piece of History.
Be careful if you cross the tressel. It is safe but you need to watch between the railway ties
