Geocache Description:

Magnetic nano - easy access for all

This cache is one of a series put out to commemorate the opening of the White River Place remodelling of St Austell town centre in October 2009. They are all on or close to a public seat in a public place. The nearby seat is an ideal location to open and log the cache.

They are an ideal pastime for anyone who has been required to accompany a partner to the shops but prefers a caching distraction rather than a cashing distraction!!

All the locations can be accessed in a wheelchair but may require assistance in retrieving the actual cache. All are dog friendly with the usual provisos of clearing up after your pooch.

All three are magnetic nanos so a pen or pencil will be required. All are in muggle heavy locations and will require stealth to ensure secrecy. Please put the cache back exactly as you found it.

The series of three caches will take you on a tour of St Austell town and can be found on a walk of less than one hour. Parking is available in a number of locations around the town – most of them charge for the pleasure!!

Seat No. 3 is located in a small park dating from late Victorian times. Long ago it must have been a site for slow perambulations and peaceful relaxation. At one corner of the park there is a moving tribute to Cpt. Agar-Robartes of Lanhydrock House who died in the Great War.

The eucalyptus tree causes the GPS signal to flutter a bit here but the hint should solve all. The location is overseen from a block of flats and some houses – be stealthy. There is a public bench a few metres away to relax with the log.
