I recently paddled this lake and always check for a cache where I’m paddling but couldn’t find one, so here it is. The lake itself covers 128 acres with about 4.25 miles of shoreline; it is mostly wooded with a few houses, so it makes for a pleasant paddle. If you venture up the Pattagansett River in the northwest corner you can paddle right up to a low earth dam, where the water flows down from Powers Lake. For you fishermen, there is a long floating dock near the launch area; a sign says that the lake is stocked with trophy bass.
