Geocache Description:

Part II of a Halloween saga.

Previously:

I had found Jack's skull

Now ....

Friday became Saturday and Joe was relieved by Alfred, a rotund silhouette of a man gliding into the room without a hitch, he said: "Good evening." many hours before the cock would crow.

I continued my story of being in the body (part) zone and explained how the singing skull was wet behind the ears (being close to the bog and all) and how at once its music was an assault on the ear and also easy on the ear; it was also hard to believe my ears.

I can't say that Jack's skull was as cute as a bug's ear, but it did seem to be grinning (in an odd sort of way) from ear to ear. And that grin made me think that he was smiling because his story didn't fall on deaf ears.

Suddenly, I understood why. Everyone knows that your ears burn when someone talks about you, so Jack was talking about himself so his ears would burn so that I would see the smoke and help find them. Voila! I put my ear to the ground, looked around, and saw smoke on the water.

CONGRATULATIONS TO Capra Hircus on the FTF!
