Geocache Description:

~ a quieter way up the mountain ~

One of a pair: the matching cache is at the top of the mountain along this beautiful old road. These are quick micros; please bring your own (fine point) pen.

Just a few miles to the south of this spot is Northcutts Cove Chapel, thought to be the oldest church-house of the Mormons (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints) in the Southeast. Built in 1909, it has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1979.

-- (Note that there's also another cache along the way up called "Northcutts Cove Between," (GC21142), located, well, ummm, somewhere between Up and Down.) --
