This cache promotes active living and environmentally friendly geocaching. In order to place this cache, we walked around Caradon Hiil - then across the Moor (via the Stone Circle known as "The Hurlers". Please share your story about how you got to the cache, especially if it was using an environmentally friendly means of transportation. There are buses to Minions from both Liskeard and Launceston, you can then visit the Heritage centre and then hike the short distance over the moor to the cache. On your return there's a selection of Tearooms and a pub! Alternatively the cache is in ideal mountain bike/horse riding country entrance. If you do this you'll have emitted way less carbon into the atmosphere than if you had driven.
In these caches, you'll find some ProjectBlueSky geocoins for the first finders. Please only take one... if you have one from another cache, please leave them for other people. There are also some other pins and swag from BC Parks, BCGA and Project BlueSky.
