The Scary Blue Question Mark - Puzzle Caches are like vacuum cleaners, they both ........

To fullfil our homework assignment of putting out a Puzzle Cache after completing Scary Blue Question Mark - GC1YGJP, I began to think of this one on my drive home. After sleeping on it, this is what I came up with.

Keep all of the principles which we learned in the class in mind when solving puzzles. Some of these include:

  • The Cache Title, as well as the name of the CO may hold a clue to the puzzle type or important information as to what needs to be done to solve the puzzle
  • Keep in mind the known components of the corrdinantes, like North and West (they may or may not be included in the puzzle solution)
  • Do not always assume that the coords will contain the Degrees, and/or the Minutes
  • Check the cache page for hints, messages or clues hidden behind pictures.
  • There may be clues or answers hidden in plain view but unseen to the naked eye, unless you know the tricks we learned in class
  • The cache hint sometimes be helpful, sometimes not.
  • Making a Spreadsheet or Table helps keep all the puzzle information in order.
  • Add additional rows or columns to your worksheet and add your own informational needs which might helps you in your solution
  • If you need to you can always email the CO for some directional assistance. Generally they will be more than happy to help or guide you to the Green Light of Success.
