Geocache Description:

Easy hike from the road that inspired the cache name; a newer street that may not yet be on some GPS maps (just showed up on Google a month ago).

Our second placed cache. First one was placed several years ago but was quickly muggled. A nice enough day to be inspired to get back into caching.

There used to be an old farmstead near the cache location. I believe it was burned for firefighter training in order to make way for the new road. The whole area to the east of the cache was slated for residential development, but the economy tanked and it now sits empty... curbed but unpaved streets that remind one of a ghost town; a ghost that has yet to be born.

If you're not from around here, if this is an incentive, there's a new Sonic restaurant a block away :)

Cache is a 5" round plastic trail mix container. Original contents:

Log book and pencils
Rubber erasers
50 cent Euro coin
50 cent poker chip
Plastic angel
Hacky sack
Magic Foam man (don't get him wet! :))
Glass insulator
