Hike along one of the most stunning and quiet places on the great wall
The hike from Jinshanling to Simatai is one of the best sections of the wall the can be done in a day trip from Beijing.
The walk is claimed to be 10 km long, think is is shorter, anyway you should estimate 4 hours walking along the wall.
Close to Jinshangling the wall is not renovated and gives and original experience. After the halfway point you may have large sections of the wall all to yourself.
Cache is well hidden, keep it like that and make sure you are unnoticed when logging. The cache can be reached from Simatai, but then you miss the hike.
