Another cache alongside the Rotary Walkway in East Auckland.
The Rotary Walkway runs from Pigeon Mountain to Pakuranga Road and runs around the edge of the water of the Tamaki River (Te Wai o Mokoia).
It provides a peaceful setting for you to enjoy, walking, cycling, geocaching or jogging.
You have views up and down the Tamaki River, layers of ash, peat and ignimbrite, wetland areas and features of historical and cultural significance.
The walkway is paved and relatively flat, making it suitable for wheelchairs, pushchairs and a range of fitness levels. Numerous entry points along the way make it easy to vary the length of your walk. The walkway stretches over a total of five kilometres.
The cache is a camoed film canister with a log sheet.
Please rehide out of sight.
It can be a high muggle zone at times, so please be aware.
Please leave the lid where it is.
BRING YOUR OWN PEN PLEASE.
