Finn Valley Bridges
Series
Killygordon bridge crosses the Finn on the road
from Kiliygordon to Killeter. It was built in the year 1782 and
cost about 1,120 pounds, raised by assessment from the county.
The fall of water through the bridge is about 4
feet. There are 7 arches. The depth of the ford at this bridge is
usually about 3 feet.
A new footbridge was built in 2008 to facilitate
predistrains as the road in frequented by large lorries going to
and from the nearby creamery

This is part of a series of caches to highlight the
history of bridges along the Finn Valley.
Within each cache is a playing card which you will
need to lead to a mystery cache..Please do not remove the card, but
note down what it is...
The Cache
The cache is a black sample container with a
geocaching label on the outside.
