Bridge to Nowhere II Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

clatmandu: I don't get back to this neighborhood much anymore now that my best friend has moved from here. Most finders have been local kids that come back here to party and write in the log, so I've decided to archive this. Thanks to everyone who came out to see the Bridge to Nowhere.

Geocache Description:

Had to relocate this cache due to vandals. It's best to use a kayak or canoe to approach this cache due to the shallow water. This is a little hideaway on a busy Oakland county lake, but the only part you need to navigate is a 'no wake' area. Wildlife spotted here includes deer, mink, muskrat, weasels, racoons, turtles, and the usual assortment of Oakland county lake waterfowl. Dont forget the bugspray. As many cachers have found, sometimes the most direct route to a cache is not the easiest. Start from the boat launch at Dodge State Park, head SW across the bay and go up the river, eventually struggling through the lilly pads. You can get within 50' before having to get out of your kayak/canoe. Cache is in a camouflaged small ammo can.
