You are looking for a 120MM Mortor can ammo can. It measures 32 x 12 x 6 and has latches on both front and back so lid will come all the way off. It's big.
We placed this cache during our 350.org (River of Action) CITO Event (GC1Z8JW). It is located on the Kansas River and is classified class I river appropriate for new paddlers. The river is a class I float, flat water and is good for beginners. It can get swift and fast moving after rains, so plan your trip accordingly. Not many obstacles (strainers), but that can change as well. Trees can fall and create a strainer. The water is usually flat and slow enough to paddle around anything in the way. You can check river levels at the usgs gauging station website to see if there is enough water to allow you to float the river. The kansas river should have 1100 cfs of water at this point. It is a good idea not to paddle alone so take a cache buddy.
Cachers that were at the event signed the container and get to claim this as a find. However the log book is empty for the next cacher to get a FTF.
I dropped a geocoin in this cache and cannot remember which one it was, also cachers that attended the event supplied lots of swag. Remember make a fair trade and CITO! Happy Hunting.
Do not let the yahoo map fool you it is on an island/sandbar.
Congratulations to JJTally on being the FTF after the event.
