Short walk into Poutoa Walkway. You can park near map at S 40 23.099 E 175 38.230. Not safe to drive closer.
This cache is located near a convenient stopping off spot between Wellington and the Hawkes Bay. Shops and a playground are nearby. For those more adventurous the cache is located along a track that is linked to many nearby walkways. A good walk will hit nearby caches including “Cashmere – No sweat”, “Atawhai strol”, “Pork Chop”, “University Challenge” and “Loop de loop”. All are great caches!
Some stealth is needed as cache is near walkway.
Cache is a Sistema clip lock (2l) green painted plastic container.
Has a log book, pen (as permanent features) and some room for trades. For a theme we would suggest trading items from where you have come from or are going to. We set-up this cache box several years ago but had to relocate (FTF items reflect where we came from). Only recently has this location developed enough for a suitable placement spot.
