This cache overlooks the dry lakebed of Panamint Valley. You will need 4wd to get here. Be carefull of the prickly cactus thorns and wear the proper kind of outdoor shoes. This cache is part of a group of 3 I placed on the fabulous Pleasant canyon/South Park loop. If you started at Pleasant, this is on your way out. If you started at South Park, it is at the beginning. If you intend to travel further up South Park to the cabin, or to the nerve-testing bridge, be aware that there are 2 spots that I beleive you will need to be locked up on the rear axle at least, or muscle up with an 8 cylinder monster truck. The cache contains the notebook and pencil to record your thoughts, and some foreign coins to spend on your imaginary travels! Enjoy the great view and the world class 4wd trip!
