Indian Creek Redwoods Traditional Cache

I never cease to be amazed at the number of lovely, little-known hiking trails in the SF Bay Area. Here is one more trail, which until now has not been on the geocaching map. It leads to a very lovely redwood grove within 100 meters of the road, more lovely scenery further up the trail, and eventually intersects the Valle Vista trail at N37 49.351 W122 08.405.
The cache is near the trailhead at the intersection of Pinehurst Road and Canyon Road, in the hills between Oakland and Moraga. There is usually plenty of parking right at the trailhead. As a bonus, there is another trailhead just on the other side of the road, which leads to Magical Redwood Grove (GC1QHE2) and several other geocaches.
To hike beyond the gate, you need an EBMUD hiking permit, which is available online here at low cost:

The cache itself is a small silver cylinder with a screw-top lid. Because of all the tall trees, it may be difficult to get an accurate GPS fix, but the cache nevertheless should be fairly easy to find. Please replace the cache in exactly the same spot.
