Geocache Description:

Should be a fairly obvious find in a patch of bushland, after a bit of a walk.

Due to the temporary nature of pens and pencils in my geocaches
BRING YOUR OWN WRITING IMPLEMENT!!!

Take A Walk On The Boardwalk. DO pass Go, DO collect $200 a Smiley Face.

Twenty or so years ago this area was mostly farmland, swamp and bushland. Now there's a lot of houses, a large wetland and lake area, and some nice boardwalks and walkways.

The cache is not at the given coordinates. To find the cache you will need to walk around the area known as "The Boardwalk", gathering bits of information to solve the puzzle. You can start your walk anywhere, but the above coordinates are probably the closest point to the final destination.

The given coordinates should find you standing on a bridge. K = the number of planks on the bridge deck.
Waypoint 2 is at S32°06.223' E115°56.284'. Here you will find a section of boardwalk. L = the number of uprights supporting the handrail.
Waypoint 3 is at S32°06.206' E115°56.271'. Here you will find a playground. M = the number of 75mm/3 inch square vertical uprights (not angled on swings).
Waypoint 4 is at S32°06.277' E115°56.294'. Here you will find a section of boardwalk. N = the number of uprights supporting the handrail.
Waypoint 5 is at S32°06.284' E115°56.360'. Here you will find a limestone wall. P = the number of limestone blocks in the wall - don't count the limestone caps, only those in contact with the ground.
Waypoint 6 is at S32°06.241' E115°56.406'. Here you will find a large power box with "XA" and a 4 digit number. Q = the 4 digit number. Reduce this to a two digit number by adding the individual digits together to get R.
Waypoint 7 is at S32°06.182' E115°56.431'. Here you will find a section of boardwalk facing a lake. S = the number of planks on the seat to the left, as seen when approaching the water.
Waypoint 8 is at S32°06.101' E115°56.508'. Here you will find a large shelter. T = the number of pillars supporting the roof.
Waypoint 9 is at S32°06.168' E115°56.411'. Here you will find a large valve, pipe, and end flange. U = the number following the letters "TE" on the end flange. Reduce this to a one digit number by adding the individual digits together to get V.

A = M - V ; B = L - N ; C = (K / T) + 1 ; D = P / V ; E = P - (L + N) ; F = (P / V)

The cache can be found at S32°06.ABC' E115°56.DEF'.

The cache is now a drab camo'd 65mm diameter 165mm high plastic screw top container, with log book, finders cards, pen, two pencils, a pencil sharpener, and a few swaps. Only room for small swaps, geocoins and travel bugs. Please be sure to re-hide the container well with the available material.

When trading items please consider trading up or trading even and leaving items that you would want to find, and please don't take the pen, pencils or sharpener. If you can't trade up or trade even I don't mind seeing TNLNSL in the log. Also please don't put the pen or pencils in the log book bag, it tends to destroy the watertight integrity.

Trackables (geocoins and travel bugs) are not tradeable items. Please feel free to take them without making a trade, but please leave a note in the logbook and your online log, and do log them online.
