Geocache Description:

An historic Power Plant that has been restored and is now reconnected to the Grid.

First operated in 1929 using water from a water race installed years before to sluice for gold. It was closed down for some years until locals decided to restore the station.
The cache is a few minutes from the carpark.
A walk around the loop track takes you to the water race, (which is an engineering feat worth seeing) and to the intake high above the power house, the loop takes about 1 hr 50 mins.
