Geocache Description:

This offset cache will take you through the pretty village of Church Knowle. The terrain is fairly flat but may be muddy in places. There are a few parking spots in the village and also the New Inn has a car park around the back if you decide to eat there (booking is recommended in holiday seasons.) Little cachers might enjoy visiting the Margaret Green animal rescue centre. Please ensure the cache is well hidden after finding.

You will need to pick up various bits of information from the village before setting out on the hunt! The above co-ordinates are for the play park, where you should start. Once there, please answer the following questions:

1. How many handles in total on the horse ride? = a

2. How many slides? = b

3. How many fish? = c

4. What is the date on the bench? = 2de2

Now walk through the village until you get to the church:

5. What year was the tower rebuilt? = 1f40

6. What year did Charles Lillington die? 18g2

Using this information the cache is down the nearby path signposted to Swyre Head, at :

N 50 (a-b)f.gca
W002 0a.dec

Again, we have included a 'story' book. Feel free to add a line or two to the story - little cachers Toto and Acorn can't wait to see how the story will unfold!
