Park in the main carpark for Old Winchester Hill, and then a short walk of about 1/2 mile on a grassy track, on the way to the hill fort. Kind permission has been granted by Naural England for this geocache to be placed at this location. They have asked that you keep to the designated paths at the Nature Reserve and observe any notices regarding the wildlife etc that inhabit the site. This is at the location of the place I visit to remember my husband Bryan who died suddenly on 29/02/04. Initally it will contain 3 geocoins for the Inglis3. It is where he proposed to me in September 1986, and where we often walked when we lived in Clanfield. Sit and enjoy the view and find the cache. April 2015 :- with the kind assistance of the warden and his team a new bench is in place and the cache is now ready to be found again. Being disabled until I can get up there and replace the pot. Still a lovely location to visit.
