Geocache Description:

A weather proof envelop marks the spot of this find, but it's the view you've really come for. Park at the near by regional park($7) or the slightly farther parking lot of the puiblic golf course(free).

Update 9/26/2015: We have replaced the envelop again so it should be good to go for awhile longer. In the meantime, stop on by and enjoy the view!

Update 9/23/2013: It's been a while since I have did any maintenance on this site. I will be there in a month and do it then. In the meantime, stop on by and enjoy the view!

Update 5/30/2011: OK, the envelop wasn't so waterproof. :) It has been replaced by a new envelop for now, until a better container can be found. So, come by and visit this wonderful site.

If you start at the park, use these coordinates to find the nearby path (38.45.515 123.31.385). Follow the paved path for awhile then turn towards the sea at the appropriate dirt path.

Remember you are looking for a medium sized plastic envelop with a logbook inside. There are no treasures here but you are welcome to leave a small item for the next visitor, if you'd like. What we'd like you to take from this spot is the gorgeous view down the coastline. Take pictures please! Add one to your report.

The hike is about an easy 1/2 mile round trip (from inside the park, maybe 3/4 mile from the golf course) and is mostly flat land with a very slight elevation change.

The coordinates for the golf course parking lot are here: 38.45.241 123.30.948. After you have turned into the golf course off the main road the parking lot is to the left. The path you need to take, after you park, is the dirt road to the right which will lead to a fence that you can go through to get to the paved road of the regional park. This way only adds a couple hundred yards to the overall hike.

Enjoy!
