Geocache Description:

Photobucket

This cache is located on the Slippery Elm Trail, not far from a place of rest brought to you by the Ferguson Family. If you ever run into them make sure to thank them! Actually it is the Ferguson/Baldwin Family, but I wanted to limit the length of the cache name. Long cache names seem to drive certain cachers I know “nuts” and most of them do not need any help in that department, but that is a story for another time!

The Slippery Elm Trail is a former railroad bed turned into a multi-purpose paved trail. The 13.5 mile trail travels through Southern Wood County from Bowling Green to North Baltimore. It is a wonderful trail to spend some time on whether you walk, ride a bike, jog or roller blade! The cache is a medium size Lock & Lock. I did put a writing implement in it which I always find to be a funny comment since I find it hard to believe someone would be out caching without their own!

I hope you enjoy this section of the trail. It has a little more tree cover than most sections and was extremely beautiful on the fall day that I hide the cache!
