Geocache Description:

Tide's End is where the tidal river Thames ceases to be tidal at Teddington Lock. To find the cache you will first need to find some information which it is only possible to collect between sunrise and sunset.

There is no public road access or car parking near the cache and you will need to walk about a quarter or half a mile to the cache depending from which direction you arrive.

The approach to the cache is accessible on flat and level tarmac paths to within a few feet of the final cache position which is off the path.

You must first visit the co-ordinates given above to find a piece of information which will enable you to find the final location. This will mean crossing lock gates and access is only available during hours of daylight.

You need a date (ABCD) on an object which was submerged until it was found when the lock was re-built in 1950.

When you have the date, substitute the letters for the numbers of the date below to find the final cache position:
