Geocache Description:

The Aztec Festival of Toxcatl was dedicated to the god Tezcatlipoca and featured the sacrifice of a young man who had been impersonating the deity for a full year.

THIS IS A SERIES OF CACHES PLACED ON PRIVATE LAND.
THE OWNERS ASK EVERYONE TO MAKE SURE THEY STAY ON THE PATH - SHOOTING OFTEN TAKES PLACE HERE AND THEY WOULD NOT LIKE TO MISTAKE A STRAY CACHER FOR A DEER!

This series is meant to be fun, and not difficult; all caches have been hidden right next to, or very close to, the path on the left hand side. A certain clue has been given as to their whereabouts. All will become clear once on site.

Our GPS was jumping all over the place, and despite having taken 100s of readings at each site, you may find the coordinates to be out. Use the clues and remember, decapitation = .....

DO PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE CACHES ARE WELL HIDDEN AGAIN AFTERWARDS AS THERE ARE A LOT OF TROUBLES WITH TROUBLESOME YOUTHS IN THESE PARTS.

FOR THE SAME REASONS THEY ALSO ASK PEOPLE TO ONLY VISIT THIS CACHE IN DAY TIME, SO AS NOT TO CAUSE CONCERN.

PLEASE PARK AT THE RECOMMENDED PARKING LOCATION AND NOT NEAR THE ENTRANCE TO THE PATH ; THIS TOO IS PRIVATE PROPERTY AND THE GARAGE OWNER HAS BEEN KNOWN TO TOW VEHICLES OFF HIS LAND AND/OR SIMPLY SHOVE THEM ASIDE.
Parking your vehicle here may well lead to having to archive the series, so please please do not do this.

We recommend you walk on a little at the end of the series, and have a look at the remains on Clitters Mines and the old wheel pit (see waypoints for where to turn off the path to Clitters and where the Pit is). This makes it into a slightly circular walk of approx 2 miles.

More information on this Festival and Toxcatl can be found on wiki (scroll down a bit to The Festival).
