Ever since childhood, I've known this to be called Lovers Leap.
The story goes.... A long long time ago... Boy meets girl, and they fall in love..but he's white, she's indian and were told it could never be.
So their families forbid them to see each other.
Deciding there was only one way they could ever be together, they met at their favorite spot and plunged to their death from atop the rock!
Folklore or not, I've always enjoyed coming here and taking in the view. Hope you do too!
