According to authorities, three men walked into the Gas Pipe, located in the 18600 block of Marsh Lane in Dallas, at around 9:00 p.m. Tuesday night. The gunmen opened fire and struck four people.
One of those victims, 18-year-old Rebecca Rae Kemp, died from her injuries at Presbyterian Hospital of Plano. According to her sister, Kemp was 'hanging out' with friends and went to the store. Kemp is from Mount Vernon. The other victims were wounded and taken to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas.
"There was no motive of robbery. There is no demands. Just one guy opens the door, second one follows and has a gun in his hand and starts opening fire on everyone else," Dallas police Sr. Cpl. Gerardo Monreal explained.
