Geocache Description:

The cache is a small lunchbox sized container which is hidden on a
footpath which is rarely used.

There are a lot of nettles at the start of the footpath at this time, it wasn't like this earlier in the year, so long trousers are a necessary to avoid being stung! Sorry!

FTF Honours go to: gushoneybun and keebee (joint)

The cache is located on a public footpath near to the A523 Ashbourne Road. Please take the entrance from the coordinates and not from the Ashbourne road entrance as it is highly dangerous! The cache is about a quarter of a miles walk down the path which is rarely used by muggles so stealth may not be required. Please see the photos in the cache gallery for help! Don't be fooled because of how close it is to the road, you must enter the path from the 'ENTRANCE' waypoint!

In wet weather, please take appropriate boots as the field can get very muddy! There may also be cows and/or sheep in the field so extra care must be taken!

The cache is an easy to find container and Travel Bugs/Geo coins may be placed in it. The walk is mostly downhill to the cache and a slight uphill on the way back. However, I do not recommend that pushchairs or wheelchairs should be taken down the path!

Please be careful whilst caching!

This cache is about a miles walk from the Market town of Leek which celebrated 800 years (in 2007) of being given its market charter in 1207 by King John! If you want to find out more, visit Leek Online
