Magdalenska gora ima izjemno bogato in zanimivo zgodovino, saj je eno najpomembnejših in najbolje raziskanih arheoloških najdišc v Sloveniji. Bogate izkopanine pricajo o njeni vec tisoc let trajajoci poseljenosti, od kulture žarnih grobišc, do rimskega obdobja. Arheološka ucna pot na Magdalenski gori je dolga približno 2 km, na njej pa je osem informacijskih tock, ki predstavijo zgodovino izkopavanj ter najdb in nazorno opisujejo nacin življenja iz 8. do 1.stoletja pred našim štetjem.
Z vrha, kjer se nahaja cerkev Sv. Magdalene, zgrajene v kmeckem gotskem stilu se ponuja lep pogled na Kamniške Alpe, Karavanke pa vse do Triglava v Julijcih.
Zagrizeni clani turisticnega društva na gori prirejajo silvestrovanja, kostanjeve piknike in še kaj.
Zaklad je posvecen prijatelju (V.R.), ki nas je popeljal v svet Geocachinga.

Magdalenska gora has a very rich and interesting history because it is one of the most important and researched old iron age sites in Slovenia. Rich findings testify that this hill was populated for thousands of years from the culture of pile to the Roman Empire. The archeological educational route is about 2 km long and has 8 information points which represent the history of excavations and findings and the way of life from the 8th to the 1st century BC.
On the top of the hill there is a church of St. Magdalena, constructed in rural Gothic style. From there you have a beautiful view on Alps of Kamnik, Karavanke and Triglav.
The enthusiastic members of the local tourist association arrange Ney Year's Eves, chestnut's picnics and still more on Magdalena.
The cache is dedicated to our friend (V.R.) who introduced us in the World of Geocaching.
