This is a park and grab at a Roadside sign that i found while exploring this area. the container is a small Lock&lock type.
Point aux poules was a French indian Village located here and a few other places (As the river used to change it's course during the yearly floods) from about 1800 thru the 1850. large amounts of fur where trans-shipped on to boats to go down river for sale. ( American's called this trader point).
