Greetings,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

[Green]Most problems can be solved with good communication so reply back to the reviewer and we will do everything possible within the guidelines to get your cache published. It is best to give me as much information as possible instead of saying nothing at all. This will speed up the process and we can get your cache published. [/green]

Geocache Description:

The cache is located at the Parkville Nature Sanctuary. Park in the lot near City Hall east of 9 Highway. Cache elevation is 839 ft above MSL.

We have relocated our cache after someone discovered it and turned the ammo box over to Parkville Police Department.

The cache has been hidden in a new location. Be certain you input the new coordinates from this page.

We began geocaching in July 2001. Although most caches we have found have been located in the midwest, we have also enjoyed geocaching in the west.

This geocache incorporates many of the features we have observed while hunting western caches.

We hope that you will have fun locating this "western" cache in the midwest.

This cache is a metal ammo box. Initial contents included:

 • Furby from "Get Your Kicks on Route 93 Pioche North Junction" (a Nevada cache, 6CICBC).
 • Bracelet.
 • Back Pack Lock.
 • Keychain.
 • Tally of Treasures Notebook.
 • Postcard from Beaver Overlook (a Utah Cache).
 • Little Old Schoolgirl House Candle.
 • Watercolors.
 • Hershey's Kiss Candle.
 • Beany Baby.
Please enjoy the Nature Sanctuary while you search for this cache. Hike trails through wooded areas and meadows, such as Paw Paw Path, Butterfly Pass, Blue Bird, White Tail and Old Kate Trails. Special features worth noting are the Overlook, Stone Cellar, Vaulted Cellar, Waterfall, and Jeannette Robbins Meeting Place (pavillion).
