Another geocache in Graves Park, hidden just off one of the many paths.
Graves Park is the largest public park in Sheffield, located in the south west of the city, between Woodseats, Norton and Meadowhead. The park was a gift to the city from Alderman J.G. Graves, along with Ecclesall Woods, Tinsley playing fields, Concord Park and Blacka Moor. It is officially open dawn to dusk, though I don’t think it is locked at night.
There are car parks or street parking at most entrances.
There are several ways to get to the cache; most are either up or down hill, hence the 2.5 rating for terrain. There is no need to leave the paths until you reach GZ. The park can be very busy at times, so please be aware when retrieving and replacing the cache.
The cache is a screw-top container, which contains logbook and goodies.
Please ensure that you leave it well hidden. Thanks.
Congratulations! FTF honours go to Yorkshireblade.
PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE EDIBLE ITEMS IN THIS OR ANY GEOCACHE. THANK YOU.
