Geocache Description:

As a geographer I am aware that New Zealand has many mountains and ranges. I thought I should share some knowledge about these with fellow cachers.
Paraparaumu has several street names with a mountain or range theme.
The given co-ordinates take you to the intersection of Rimutaka Street & Ruahine Street.

There is no need to go there as it’s not where the cache is and secondly it is hardly a spectacular mountain view
The good news with this puzzle is that you can drive to within metres of the GZ and there is no need to have climbing gear to complete the mission.

The crossword is Stage 1 of the puzzle but that’s not all you will need to do to complete this mission

All the answers to the questions in your quest can be found on the internet or in a good NZ atlas.
