Die Zufahrt mit dem PKW ist von Juni bis Oktober zum "Sommertörl" möglich. Man erreicht diesen Punkt von Knittelfeld über die Gaal oder von St. Oswald-Möderbrugg aus über Forststraßen. Vom Sommertörl führt ein markierter Forstweg zur Loretto-Kapelle (1817 m). Der Anstieg zum Rosenkogel (1918 m), von wo man eine herrrliche Aussicht genießt, beträgt von der Loretto-Kapelle nur 20 Minuten. Empfehlenswert ist die Weiterwanderung auf das Lahneck, wo man sich Ende Juni an herrlichen Almrauschhängen erfreuen kann.
You can reach the location from where you start your hiking trip by car from June until October. You can either take the forest road from Knittelfeld via Gaal or you go there from St. Oswald-Möderbrugg. From Sommertörl, where you can find a parking lot for your car, you can reach the Loretto-Chapel (1817 m above the sealevel) within 30 minutes walk. If you would like to continue your hiking trip you can easily climb the Rosenkogel (1918 m above the sealevel) within 20 minutes. I would recommend to further continue your hiking trip to "Lahneck", which is also a very nice mountain in Upper Styria. At the end of June you can enjoy the beautiful pink alpine roses which grow there.
