A three-part multi with two virtual markers and a small camo'd lock-n-lock final. The stages are designed to give you a decent stroll past most of what this tiny state park contains. NOTE: The second stage was changed Sept 2015 because the original marker has faded away.
The first stage is an interesting boundary marker about a bit of Ohio history. If you'd like more information check out the web page referenced here. https://ohiohistorycentral.org/w/Connecticut_Western_Reserve Now, from that marker, walk about 99 paces (I'm six feet tall) straight out the dock to a flagpole. Check your coordinates at that pole. Add .171 to the latitude. Subtract .015 from the longitude. That result should lead you to the final. You can either drive or walk to the last stage. The last fifty feet you'll be walking uphill on loose rock. Be careful! The stages are wheelchair accessible up to that point. NOTE: While you can drive very close to stage 1 you can't park there. It's best to follow the signs to car parking as soon as you arrive at the park. If you decide to park in the boat trailer lot while geocaching, the park asks that you move your car out to one of the smaller car lots if you decide to stay at the park. Congrats to BoatChick for FTF!
