Geocache Description:

Along a street called Old Tokaido, you will find some of old Japanese architects and business styles.

The street Old Tokaido is the original route of Tokaido running from Osaka to Tokyo. Today, the role of Tokaido has long been taken over by Highways and Shinkansen bullet trains but the name of Tokaido remains as meaning of the most important corridor of Japan. On this short section of Old Tokaido in Otsu, I hope you discover old Japan here and there.

A small cache is hidden at a corner of the Old Tokaido.
