Der Bergkamm, über den diese Wanderung führt, trennt die beiden mächtigsten Schluchten des Teno Gebirges, den Baranco de Masca und den Baranco Seco voneinander. Neben den schwindelerregenden Tiefblicken in die beiden Schluchten hat man bei der verlassenen Finca de Guerges einen grossartigen Ausblick auf die Steilküste bei Los Gigantes. Auch die Nachbarinsel Gomera scheint zum Greifen nah.
Diese Tour ist wohl eine der lohnendsten auf der Insel.
Der Ausgangspunkt der Wanderung beginnt bei den Koordinaten N 28° 17.955 und W 016° 49.664 auf einer Höhe von ca. 975 m welchen du von Satiago del Teide über die TF 436 in Richtung Masca erreichst.
Dein Cachemobil kannst du bei den Koordinaten N 28° 18.013 und W 016° 49.606 parkieren.
Anforderungen: Teils steiler Camino, der Trittsicherheit und Schwindelfreiheit voraussetzt.
Die insgesamt zu überwindende Höhe ist ca. 600 m
Der höchste Punkt bei La Cabazeda ist 1050 m, danach geht es hinunter zur Finca auf 770m.
Gehzeit: Hin und zurück ca. 4 Std.

The mountain crest of this hike separates both mightiest gulches of the Teno mountains, the the Baranco de Masca and the Baranco Seco.
Beside the vertiginous looks in both gulches you will have at the abandoned Finca de Guerges a great view of the steep coast from Los Gigantes.
This tour is probably one of the most worthwhile on the island.
The starting point of the hike begins at the coordinates N 28° 17,955 and W 016° 49,664 on a height of approx. 975 m which you reaches from Satiago del Teide over the TF 436 toward Masca. Your can park your Cachemobil at the coordinates N 28° 18,013 and W 016° 49,606. The highest point of 1050 m is La Cabazeda, afterwards it goes down up to the Finca on 770m.
Walking time: Back and forth approx. 4 hr.
Requirements: Partly steep Camino, You should be sure-footed and not affected by vertigo.. The height to be overcome: All together is approx. 600 m
