Geocache Description:

Cache is a cammo pill container along the fence line of Mc Henry Cemetery in Pheonix Township, Henry County. Walk through the cemetery to reach the cache.


I'm creating a series of caches near old cemeteries. The caches and hides are nothing special, just placed to bring you out to some great old cemeteries you might not know are there. The difficulty for many will be in figuring out how to get to the cemetery.

McHenry Cemetery was established in 1901, although it contains graves from the late 1800s, including some Civil War veterans.

There is a gold dollar for the FTF - it's in the lid of the container, so be careful when you open the cache.

Please be respectful while visiting the cemetery and no caching after dark. Please bring your own pen.
