Geocache Description:

This cache is located at the Snoqualmie River Middle Fork (SRMF) Granite Creek River Access site.




Whitewater rafters use this access to put-in for a 7 mile class III-IV run downstream and a take-out from a 7.5 mile class II run upstream.




There is also hiking adventures to be found nearby. Nearby the North Fork Road crosses the river to the west side where it remains for the rest of the upper valley.

This site is basic, consisting only of a sign, bulletin board and short path to the river’s edge. Parking is available in the turnout across the road near the gate for SE 116th St, however, be sure not to block the gate which is irregularly used. Additional parking along the road is also acceptable.

The cache is a smaller clear plastic container not very well hidden, at least for geocachers. It should be well out of the way enough to avoid discovery by muggles though some stealth may be required at times especially during winter when the grow doesn't block the view.
