William Henry Harrison earned the nickname “Tippecanoe” after a victory over American Indians in 1813. There is a charming legend that states that while President, he did his own shopping and brought the groceries home in a basket. However, without a doubt his most memorable act as President occurred on April 4, 1841. That’s the day he died of pneumonia after serving only one month in office.
