En by af Hovedgårds størrelse har selvfølgelig også noget industri. Det er ikke fordi der er så meget kønt at kigge på her, men kommer du i høsttiden vil du blive forbavset over hvor meget korn der bliver opsamlet på foderstoffen DLG. En anden af Hovedgårds store industrier er DLH Hårdttræ, det er en del af en multinational kæde med afdelinger i stort set hele verden. Har du en træbordplade eller trægulv i dit hjem, er der stor sandsynlighed for at det har været en tur forbi Hovedgård.

One part of Hovedgård is the industrial area. It´s not the most pretty part, but if you are here in harvest season, you will be amazed by the small mountains of grains at DLG. Another large industry is the hardwood import – DLH. It is a branch of a multinational wood company who has branches in almost every country in the world.
