Geocache Description:

This roadside cache gives a decent view of Tainters Hill Windmill. The cache type has been changed, and the difficulty upgraded to 2, as the new container is more of a stealth solution. Alas that means no room for anything, not even a pencil.

Tainters Hill Windmill is a brick tower mill, built in 1778, grinding corn for Kenwilworth until 1854 when it was converted to electricity

The tower was adapted in 1883 to support a water tank, which was used until 1960

In 1973 it was converted into a residence.
