Its been 2 full
years since the Western Mass Geocachers website went live and lets
all celebrate that occasion with our 1st Monthly WMG
Dinner.
Since this is
going to be the 1st Dinner Event it should be a great way to
get ideas for other locations that we would like to go to here in
Western Mass on a monthly basis.
This
first event will be held at OCB here in Pittsfield, Mass.
The
Dinner will officially start at 6:00pm and go until OCB closes at
9:00pm OR you decide to leave.
If you have
never been to an OCB, here's your chance to come and try there
food. If you do not know what a OCB is, just do a google search on
OCB.
At this time there
is no discounts that are being offered to us. You will need pay for your buffet meal at the
door and then come join us at our section (look for all the
balloon's) and talk and eat the night away. Unlike most events
(at restaurants) where you do not have to pay to get in, or you can
order what you want, if anything, OCB wont just let people in and
trust them not to eat, so you will need to pay to get in.
If you will not come
to this event ONLY because you need to pay to get in, please post a
note saying that you wont come because of this issue. If I get 10
or more will not attends because of needing to pay to get in, I
will archive this event.
We will have a small TB and Coin bin for trades and maybe
a prize or two to be given away during the dinner.

I was just informed that we "might" not be all sitting together at
the same time "or" get in at the same time since they will not let
us "cut" the line and this may now be an issue.
OCB is going to do there best to get us together as tables leave
that are in the section that I had told them I wanted but they can
not guarantee anything now. For the last 2 Saturdays they have been
very busy and can not say what is going to happen this
Saturday.
If you are still planing on coming to the event just be aware of
this when you first arrive and you may be near us just not
together. Had they told me this in the beginning I would have made
arrangements at another location.
I do apologize for this and hope that you will understand the
situation. If you would like to host the next event, or have any
locations that may be better next month please post them on the
