Geocache Description:

This is a traditional cache (lock n lock) and a traditional hide. The terrain rating is due to the distance.

This cache will take you on a short new spur trail just off the new Roaring Run Trail extension. The area is very interesting and was once a small lake that was damed up so the coal trucks could travel across flat run. Due to heavy rains the dam embankment was washed away.
Rich Dixon (Roaring Run V.P.) along with his son's cub scout troop are working to clear the area.
Lots of pictures can be taken in this area and a bench is there to sit and take in the senic beauty.
No need to venture down over the hill to the get to GZ. I had a hard time getting the coords but it is a traditional hide. Some stealth might be needed at certain times.

This is not a 24/7 cache. The trail is open during daylight hours only. Strickly enforced.
