Geocache Description:

Built in 1858 by W.S. Louden. This was the first wagon road to Weaverville from Lewston. From Louden's Ranch the road forked, one went west through Lewston and up over Hoadley Peak on the Lewston Turnpike. Which was a toll road built by W.S. Louden. The other road went past Buckhorn Station and over Buckhorn Summit to a point 15 miles west of Tower House(French Gulch Turnoff). There the two roads came together.Congrats to thedawdlers for a FTF
