Geocache Description:

Four Hundred ThirtyNinth in the Famous People (FP) Series - Diora Baird

Diora Baird (born April 6, 1983) is an American actress and model who has appeared in films such as Wedding Crashers (2005) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning (2006).

Baird was born in Miami, Miami-Dade County, Florida. Her mother was also a model. She got into acting when her mother enrolled her in an acting class to help her overcome introversion. Later, she became vice president of her school's Thespian Society. At the age of 17, she moved to Los Angeles in hope of pursuing an acting career. To earn money while auditioning she worked at clothing stores as well as a clown at children's parties, caterer, waitress and pre-school teacher until breaking in to the modeling industry. Her exposure increased considerably with an appearance on the cover of the August 2005 issue of Playboy magazine. Imagine that.

Here in the Baird Cemetery, your exposure will likely increase considerably too. Vernon Wagner is the caretaker and lives right across the street. He has been surveying the grounds and marking unknown graves. He likes the fact that people will come to visit, but he doesn't know about the cache.

You will find a black bison tube black 2ml cryo tube hanging about head high (for most of us) from one of the small limbs that are on the big limb that comes out and goes real low. The cache is not up against the bigger limb, so try to just spot it first without reaching around and drawing too much attention. You can see it plainly while standing under that limb.

Should Vernon come over to talk, tell him you're a geocacher looking around.

Not far away from GZ you may spot a stake in the ground, turned a different direction from the others, with the name Pop Wortham on it. Seems as though Pop was always *cross-ways* with most folks, so he's buried sideways in here. Vernon likes that story, so be sure and ask him about old Pops.
