Short trail off a dirt road in October Mountain State Forest.
This is the second in a series of three caches on a nice short trail. In the summer you can drive a high clearance vehicle up a dirt road named Schermerhorn Rd.(Lower Tower Rd.) See summer parking cords. There are winter parking cords too. A trail map of October Mountain can be found at the Forest Headquarters on Woodland Rd., Lee, MA or at www.mass.gov/dcr.
