A nice traditional hide; a crazy climb with a wonderful reward for your effort.
This stretch of the Bruce Trail proved to be too much for our hiking party of three last month on the BT Hike. After managing 34k of trail. The fact that we were down one of our flashlights and P.E.Z. was wearing flat "skater" shoes on the edge of the escarpment made it just way too dangerous.
We did return to finish this Niagara Section off the other day and was amazed by what we would have missed in the dark...
...the old Grimsby water cistern. A gorgeous old structure that has an amazing view to boot!
Cache is an olive green container hidden a few feet from the marked trail. Hope you enjoy the view and as ever feel free to post any related information on this cistern if you've got some to share.
